At The Lodge at Cedar River Village, The Jordan has three setup combinations and can be reserved alongside the Ausable, Boardman, Platte, and Cedar.

Yes. Every group is paired with a conference services manager, who handles planning and execution, from menus to vendor coordination.

A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is due with a signed contract. This deposit is applied to the master account or individual accounts, as applicable.

For individual reservations, a deposit equal to one night's stay is required to hold each reservation. This deposit confirms the reservation for the date(s) indicated and, upon check-in, is applied to the last night of the stay. A personal check, money order, or valid American Express, Visa, or MasterCard card number and expiration date are accepted. If a guest changes or cancels a reservation, the deposit is refundable, less a $10 handling fee, provided notice is received at least 5 days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

If a group is canceled, you agree to pay Shanty Creek a cancellation fee calculated as follows:

• More than 181 but fewer than 360 days before the arrival date: 20% of total anticipated revenue.
• More than 91 but fewer than 180 days before the arrival date: 30% of total anticipated revenue.
• More than 61 but fewer than 90 days before the arrival date: 50% of total anticipated revenue.
• More than 31 but fewer than 60 days before the arrival date: 75% of total anticipated revenue.

A cancellation 30 days or less in advance of the function will be assessed 100% of the liquidated damages.

Shanty Creek pairs serious meeting infrastructure, over 36,000 square feet across 12 rooms, with a setting that doubles as the reward: four golf courses, downhill and cross-country skiing, 32-plus miles of mountain biking trail, and Torch Lake nearby. Meeting space, lodging, and dining sit under the same roof at each village, so your group never has to shuttle far between sessions and downtime. And the setting does some of the work for you: floor-to-ceiling views of Northern Michigan woods and water bring the outdoors right into the room.

Attendees have access to our indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, multiple on-site dining options, Full Swing Suite, five championship golf courses (Cedar River, Hawk's Eye, The Legend, Schuss Mountain, and Summit), skiing and snowboarding at Schuss Mountain, Alpine Tubing, Nordic skiing, Snow Glide rides, and more.

Groups can build in golf outings across our five championship courses (Cedar River, Hawk's Eye, The Legend, Schuss Mountain, and Summit), skiing and snowboarding in winter, mountain biking, and time on nearby Torch Lake and the Chain of Lakes' 100 miles of waterways. Local wineries and craft beverage tours are also available.
